Neighborhood Conditions and Health Survey
Welcome to the Neighborhood Conditions and Health Survey Web site. This survey about neighborhoods is being conducted by Clearwater Research of Boise, Idaho, on behalf of the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan. It will help us better understand and analyze how neighborhoods affect and influence people’s health.
Between 2011 and 2012, Clearwater Research will invite about 10,000 households to participate in a survey on neighborhood issues in six geographic areas:
• Bronx and Manhattan, New York
• Los Angeles, California
• Baltimore, Maryland
• The Chicago, Illinois area
• Forsyth, North Carolina
• The Minneapolis Minnesota area
By answering the survey questions, respondents will give us information that represents not only themselves but also others like them in their neighborhood.
A small cash or check incentive will be provided as a thank you to those who complete the survey.
